Design

The Xiaomi Mi Mix features a 6.4-inch screen with a FHD resolution of 2040 pixels by 1080 pixels.

On the front, The amazing large edgeless screen design is even much greater and attractive than the internal hardware configuration. 6.4 inch 17:9 huge edgeless display is up to 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. To achieve this design, Xiaomi Mi Mix removes the infrared,Proximity sensor which in the ordinary phones and designs a minisize front camera only as 50% size of the ordinary front cam. It used ultrasonic to replace infrared proximity sensor.

There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and a standard Type-C port at the bottom.

On the back, The Xiaomi Mi Mix’s' unibody design means the battery is not removable. Xiaomi Mi Mix has a full ceramic body which was designed by Philippe Starck who is the world renowned designer. It used the microcrystalline zirconia ceramic as blank which the hardness is second only to sapphire. It has ceramic back cover,ceramic frame and ceramic buttons. There’s 18K gold plating in the Mix Pro version. And the fingerprint sensor is on the back.
