New Remote Control
The upgraded remote control comes with many new features. A gimbal control dial, trainer port, built-in rechargeable LiPo battery with a capacity of 2000mAh, battery level LED indicators and throttle locking feature that holds the throttle stick in place when descending are all included.
Improved Power
New motors, propellers, and ESCs combine to give you greater thrust and control than ever before. You can load more equipment on your Phantom, and achieve up to 200g/axis of extra thrust when using a 3S LiPo battery with this completely new system.
New Compass
A new, anti-static compass has been developed, with a protective shell to help shield it in any flight conditions

High Capacity, high performance 5200mAh intelligent lithium polymer battery offers up to 25 minutes of flight time with battery capacity data, overcharge/discharge protection and maintenance reminders for greater reliability.
Auto Return-to-Home & Landing
If the Phantom 2 and its controller disconnect during flight for any reason, the Naza-M autopilot system’s failsafe protection will come to the rescue. Outputs of all command sticks on the control on the controller will go the center position and if the signal is good enough the Phantom 2 will return to home and land automatically. You can also program a One-Key-Go-Home function through the assistant software.
Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
In traditional Multirotor flight, forward is tied to the direction of the nose. Using IOC, it’s much simpler.In Course Lock mode, forward direction is always the direction the nose faced at takeoff, while in the Home Lock mode forward take the Phantom 2 back to where it took off from. Users can adjust these settings as they please.
Advanced Power Management
Power consumption has been improved by a custom power management system that monitors power capacity and voltage. Low power is indicated by the LED. If power drops below safe levels, the Phantom 2 will land automatically during low battery level.
Easy Battery Replacement
Integrated battery compartment allows for near instant battery changes. The slide and lock mechanism gives pilots the confidence that the battery is secure and ready for flight.
Self-Tightening Propellers
This innovative design allows users to install propellers almost worry free. These props can only be installed one way and also tighten during flight, enhancing safety. All propellers have been carefully and dynamically balanced to eliminate the jello effect.
Customized H4-3D Gimbal Support
A customized H4-3D gimbal, designed for easy assembly and connections is available for the Phantom 2. Its stability ensure high quality footage and the camera’s pitch can be controlled from the transmitter allowing pilots excellent media creativity. To get the H4-3D gimbal, just select that option and add to cart.
CAN-BUS Expansion Module for Function Expansion
Functions of the Phantom 2 can be expanded through its CAN-BUS module, which can be used for iOSD or 2.4G Bluetooth Datalink (Ground Station).
Easy Upgrade to FPV
AV output and video-downlink power cables are already installed and ready for upgrade. Please check with a UAVD specialist to learn more about video downlinks.
