Q: When I power on the screen, it always starts with 15% brightness. Is there a way to save the previous brightness level?
A: Press the toggle button. It will bring you to the options menu for the screen.
Q: Does it have power pass through? will it charge my devices through USB?
A: Yes. Because people use it with Nintendo Switch that way. It has 2x USB-C.
Q: Can the monitor be used with the usb-c port while it's charging? (are 2 usb-c cables supplied?)
A: The supplied cables are:
1: USB-C to USB-C (can be used alone)
2: USB-A to USB-C (Used with the provided power supply that also comes with the monitor)
3: HDMI to Mini HDMI.
You either:
1: Connect the USB-C to USB-C between the labtop and the monitor for power and data.
2: Connect the USB-A to USB-C between the power supply (or power enabled USB-A port in the laptop) and the monitor for power AND the HDMI to Mini HDMI between the labtop and the monitor for data.
Q: Can this be mounted to vesa or is there a different way to mount it?
A: Sadly you can't mount to vesa. It only has a kick stand.
Q: If i charge it via the pd port, will the other usb-c (connected to the laptop) charge the laptop or phone?
A: It should. But it depends on your laptop power needs. If you are running standard 60W laptop, it should work just fine. If your laptopn need 150W - it might be not enough. But answer is yes.
Overall was very happy with the performance of this device after 1 week of working in "workation". Worth the money.
